The information in a digital memorial is deeply personal: family photos, voice recordings, biographies, intimate conversations. At Memories Eternal, data security is not an additional feature; it is a foundational principle of everything we do.

Data Encryption

All data is encrypted both in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256). This means even in the unlikely event of server access, data would be unreadable without encryption keys. Voice recordings and media files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with the same security measures used by banks and hospitals.

Access Control

You decide who can see your memorial. Keep it completely private or share with specific family members via email invitations. Each invited person receives a role (viewer or collaborator) and you can revoke access at any time. Private conversations are exactly that: private. Even platform administrators cannot access them.

Legal Compliance

We comply with the strictest data protection regulations, including GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California). You have the right to export, modify, or permanently delete all your data at any time. We never sell or share personal information with third parties.

Backup and Permanence

We perform automatic daily backups of all information. Your memorial will not disappear due to a technical failure. We also offer the option to export all memorial content in a standard format for local backup.
