How to Share a Digital Memorial with Your Entire Family
Memory Is Better When Shared
A digital memorial reaches its full potential when multiple family members contribute their own memories, photos, and perspectives. At Memories Eternal, sharing a memorial is a simple, secure process that allows each family member to add their piece of the puzzle.
How to Share
From the memorial settings, invite family members by entering their email address. They receive a secure link with a unique token granting access. If they already have a Memories Eternal account, the memorial automatically appears in their "Shared with me" section. If not, they are invited to create one.
Roles and Permissions
Two roles exist: Viewer (can view all content and chat but cannot modify the memorial) and Collaborator (can add photos, memories, and edit information). As creator, you maintain full control and can change roles or revoke access at any time.
Benefits of Sharing
When an aunt shares a never-before-seen photo, when a cousin adds an anecdote only they knew, when a grandmother dictates a childhood memory of the deceased, the memorial enriches in ways a single person could never achieve. Each contribution makes the AI more accurate and the experience more authentic for everyone.
Sharing a memorial also creates a space for collective grief that can strengthen family bonds when togetherness matters most.
